My user profile uses a painting by William Sydney Mount, one of two he made called 'The Banjo Player' (the second one is here.) I imagined when I saw it small that this feller looked like me a little bit. But I guess I don't have a hat like that. I do approve of the setting. And the fretless. And the jacket. And I think he's playing some moveable variant of D. That hay looks good for a nap. But I don't have a hat like that. Whenever I get brimmed hats, they're always light brown, and I always realize eventually that I look like a wanker in them. Maybe next time I'll try a darker colour, like this guy.
