And so, of course, are the trees, since the photo (which I snatched from the Net) was clearly not taken recently. Not in the last five month I'd wager anyway. Be that as it is, the following is a POSTING for an EVENT that falls somewhere between ST. PATRICK'S DAY and the arrival of SPRING. That is to say (!) next weekend.

Hi Folks
I just wanted to send a brief reminder that Pat Simmonds (fiddle/accordion), Kelly) Hood (Uilleann Pipes/whistle), Declan O’Doherty (piano), Erynn Marshall (fiddle/vocals) and myself (banjo/guitar/vocals) will be presenting our “Shore to Shore” concert this Sunday at The Flying Cloud Folk Club. The concert features Irish music played along side Appalachian music. The idea is to highlight the sounds of traditional music on both sides of the ocean – where it came from, where it went and what happens when you mix it all together. We always have a great time when we do these shows and we hope you can make it out to this one.
